Within less than 10 miles from 22+ wineries, plus hundreds more in Avila, Paso Robles, Santa Ynez, and Santa Barbara.
For Cyclists: lots of trails and back roads to ride, or you could even ride to the wineries. And the casita has a large covered area for stowing your bikes!
1 hour to San Simeon to see Elephant seals and Hearst Castle. 1 hour to the Danish village of Solvang; in the summer you can enjoy the outdoor theatre. Did you forget something? No problem! CVS is 2 minutes up the road, and Trader Joe's is 5.
